Speaking of pranks, many of you have probably heard about the whole “Rick Roll” phenomenon, described by Wikipedia as:
“Rickrolling is a prank involving the music video for the 1987 Rick Astley song "Never Gonna Give You Up". In a RickRoll, a person provides a link they claim is relevant to a given topic, but it then takes the user to the Astley video. It can also mean playing the song loudly in public in order to be disruptive. A person who falls for the prank is said to be "RickRolled".
So, since MILLIONS of people are being Rick-Rolled and tricked into watching that song’s video (and since millions of people already use our phone numbers as pranks), we figured we should create the “Rick Roll Hotline” to see how many people would “Rick Roll” their friends by getting them to call!
P.S. The video version is below (though we strongly suggest you start getting people to call the Rick Roll phone number instead)
The new “Rick Roll Hotline” is: 772-257-4501
