April Fool’s Day was our highest call volume Day of 2008! This was partly because a record-number of people were texting their friends to call them back at 413-497-0025 (our Bad Breath Notification Number) but also because our new April Fool’s Day Assistance Hotline (the number people used for any joke or prank that required a contact number) was receiving thousands of calls per hour throughout the day!

But that got us thinking… Pranks and jokes shouldn’t be limited to just one day a year! So we changed the words “April Fool’s Day Assistance Hotline” to “Prank Assistance Hotline” and you can now use 781-452-0842 as the contact number for any joke or prank you pull all year long!

“Rickrolling is a prank involving the music video for the 1987 Rick Astley song "Never Gonna Give You Up". In a RickRoll, a person provides a link they claim is relevant to a given topic, but it then takes the user to the Astley video. It can also mean playing the song loudly in public in order to be disruptive. A person who falls for the prank is said to be "RickRolled".

So, since MILLIONS of people are being Rick-Rolled and tricked into watching that song’s video (and since millions of people already use our phone numbers as pranks), we figured we should create the “Rick Roll Hotline” to see how many people would “Rick Roll” their friends by getting them to call!
